COLUMBIA – Test results of water samples outside the H. B. Robinson nuclear plant in Darlington County showed the plant has had no adverse effects to the quality of the groundwater or surface water in the area, the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control reported today.

COLUMBIA – The Conditionally Approved shellfish beds in Murrells Inlet and North Santee Bay in Georgetown County have been closed to harvesting because of excessive rainfall and the potential for contamination, the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control reported today.
